This Fair Processing Notice (“Privacy Policy”) explains how Formula E Operations, Limited (“Formula E”), the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (“FIA”) and their affiliates collect, use and disclose your personal information on the website.


This Privacy Policy aims to assist you in understanding how Formula E collects, uses, and safeguards the personal information you provide to Formula E and to assist you in making informed decisions when communicating with Formula E when receiving news and related content through the website.

What information does Formula E collect?

Formula E collects several types of information about visitors and/or users of their services. This information may be collected either directly when you provide it or automatically as you navigate through the website as follows:


  • Formula E will collect and process your personal data when you register to purchase/create an account, subscribe to a newsletter, contact customer service, or fill out a survey. If registering to purchase tickets, you may be asked to provide the following:

From time to time, Formula E, the FIA and their affiliates may run co-sponsored promotional contests. If you provide a completed contest registration form to any of our co-sponsored content, Formula E may disclose your name, address and email address to the applicable co-sponsor. Also, activities of contest participants may be photographed, distributed and used by Formula E, the FIA and their affiliates for promotional purposes in any medium or form and without any compensation.

How Formula E shares your information

Formula E, the FIA and their affiliates are highly committed to protecting the online privacy of children in all countries. How long will your personal information be retained for?


For Formula E to be able to provide services to you, Formula E  stores information about you (including delivery address and other details you provide when you create an account) as long as you are an active customer and keep your account open.


Formula E will retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the identified purposes or a legal or business purpose in accordance with this Privacy Policy or under GDPR.
